Yes they are both connected to CNN food court. It's Omni Hotel, CNN, State Farm Arena.

Nope, and getting outside to smoke can be a bit challenging.
How close is it to World Congress Center and does hotel have shuttle service?
Maybe a block away... Like next door close.
How much is parking?
I only drive and park here of in gong to an event. Which is rare. But i know Atlanta. Parking is about 15 20 bucks. It will change depend on the time. More on the evenings and go up $5.
